મારા હ્રદયની વાત તને કહી રહ્યો છુ આજ,
વર્ષો વીત્યે ફરી મળ્યાતો વહી રહ્યો છુ આજ.
કાલે સવાર પડતા ઝાકળ ઉડી જશે,
ખરતા ફૂલો મહી જરા સુગંધ રહી જશે;
ફૂલો ના આંસુઓની કથા કહી રહ્યો છુ આજ.
મારા હ્રદયની વાત તને કહી રહ્યો છુ આજ,
દરિયો ઉલેચ્યો પાંપણે ને આંખે ઉકેલી રેત,
મરજીવા થઈ મોતી તણા માંડી'તી કેવી ખેપ;
મોતી થવા ની કોરી વ્યથા સહી રહ્યો છુ આજ.
